I was known as a techie who work in a local SME company in year 2000. “Techie” means, everything related to technically operation will come to me. From servers, hardwares, softwares, networks, power plug, printers; even light bulbs or any hardware failure, my couleuques will look for helps from me. I enjoy of being the “guardian of the office” and make sure evrything run smooth and increase the production power. All my couleugue like me a lot, because I help them to solve problems most of the time. After few years servicing for this company, I started feel boring of the working environment.
Once awhile I was request to help out our editorial division and work as a DTP artist and junior photographer for
Magazine due to lack of human resources. No doubt its double up my work load, but i grant a chance to explore more. My photography task is to take some pictures during the interview of some local and oversea fine art artist. And that's how i get connected with photography.
I love photography. Thru the view finder, I can see the world from different perspective. I capture the moment, record history, create pictures, and brings memory alive. And I enjoy it.
After working for couple of years, i decide to quit my job and work as a fulltime photographer with no formal training to my credit, only ambition and passion for photography. I spent many hours reading books on the technical aspects of photography and practices. I've stucked for some time with no job. But the break came. I got some offer from friends, and I started to work as a second shooter for weddings and events. And i also working part-time in some photography studios. Two years later, i was photographing weddings solo, and freelancing for studio works.
